Training - MBTI® Step I Conversion

About
This three-day course qualifies people who are already Level B-qualified, but who are without an MBTI® qualification, to use the MBTI Step I questionnaire.
It is suitable for:
- Anyone who holds the BPS Certificate of Competence in Occupational Testing Level B (Intermediate or Full) or who have successfully attended a recognised Intermediate Level B course
Content
The workshop uses exercises, group work, lectures and visual presentations to explore:
- Fundamental assumptions of type theory
- Introduction to the preferences
- Feedback of participants' profiles
- Reported type versus best fit type issues
- Construction and development of the MBTI Step I instrument
- A process for feeding back results
- Type and trait theories
- Type dynamics
- Ethical and administration issues
- Applications of type
- Reliability and validity of the instrument
- Interpretation and feedback of results
Prerequisites
You will be expected to complete the following in advance of the workshop:
- Read sections of the MBTI User's Guide, which will help you to navigate through the key MBTI resources
- Complete the MBTI Step I questionnaire and receive feedback from a qualified user. We can arrange this at OPP or provide details of local practitioners
- Watch a CD-ROM showing a model feedback session
